Slowly, but Surely…

Pages are being re-added to the site in preparation for the launch of Super on Kickstarter. In the next few days, I’ll have the first 25 pages of Super online and readable. After that, I’ll be adding preview pages from some of the other parts of the book. While all of this is going on, I’m also going to make a concerted effort to put all the preview pages from Desert Rose and Disposable Graffiti back up and maybe post some other fun stuff as well, including shots from my next project and a shop page if I can figure out how to program one in.

And don’t call me Shirley.

Quick Update

Been very busy lately with building our new webcomics site (more on that later), but we’ll be back to normal around here pretty soon… well, someday…

In the meantime, I went out to a burlesque show last night at a place called Boomers. It starred a number of local talents as well as a couple of out-of-towners. It was a pleasure because I got to see the likes of Vi Vacious, Cha Cha Velour and Lou Lou Roxy (who I’ve known for about a decade yet never seen on stage) perform. After the show, I tagged along with a couple of the performers as they went to the Peppermill, this really great old-school fire-side lounge. It has been around forever and even though I only go in once every few years, it’s always kinda nice to see that nothing ever changes.

Whilst Digging Around

I came upon an old photo of me that was on this site in its original form (7 freaking years ago!!!). We took it to show off our palatial offices at the time. It’s kinda fun digging back through all this old stuff in an effort to find things to rebuild the page with, so here it is for you now:

Another hard day in the office

Man, I really miss that office.

The Problem with Turning Your Back for a Really, Really Long Time:

I haven’t been on here in what seems like forever, and when I return I find that all the pages I posted with our comics and other assorted goodies are gone! No pages, no links, no posts, no nothin’. Hell, it’s been so long now since I posted anything on here that I can’t quite remember how to build those pages. Looks like it’s back in the salt mines for me to figure out how to put all this stuff back in…

First, you should all go read this.

I’m in a bit of a hurry and haven’t had time to let this stir in my head, so maybe my opinion will soften later on or I’ll see some sort of reason to it, but for now let me just say from the very bottom of my gut reaction:

YOU MISERABLE BUNCH OF WEAK-WILLED, COW-TOWING FUCKING COWARDS!!!

EDIT: The link above doesn’t lead to the article in question anymore, but the gist of it was that the president had decided that the public option was no longer a “must”.
